Jeuda is a nation stretching across an expanse of seas and islands made up of various ethnic groups, primarily hailing from old-Terra South-East Asia.
Learning from the mistakes of the home-world, the ruling government, the Jeuda Republican Governing Council, takes great pains to ensure there is little lawlessness within their borders, and punishment for breaking their many laws is often brutal if not fatal. The nation’s officials and offices are known to be highly impervious to corruption, and attempts are frowned upon and risk the perpetrator lengthy imprisonment.
While the state-run media reports peace and prosperity for the nation, the simple fact is the Jeudan Council’s actions towards a unified nation has strangled the identities of several minority ethnic groups, causing dissent in various regions. The government has responded in kind by sending in troops to quell rebel fighters leading to several stalemated situations as the Jeudan Republican Guard entrench themselves and the rebels make guerrilla strikes in their efforts for autonomous control.
